Kayleigh McEnany Drops Update On White House Cocaine

Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany has recently made headlines with her comments on the discovery of cocaine at the White House and rumors that it may have belonged to one-time addict and first son Hunter Biden.

During a segment with Sean Hannity, McEnany spoke about recent reports of the drug found in “heavily trafficked” areas and said it must have been discovered quickly due to Secret Service monitoring.

She then criticized current White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre for not being better prepared when questioned over the incident. The issue of drugs in the White House is an important one, as it reflects on both personal and professional accountability within our country’s highest office.

A lack of adequate information regarding such a serious topic raises troubling questions about how much is actually known about the inner workings of the building itself.

The fact that drugs were found indicates that security measures are either inadequate or being taken for granted, both of which are concerning issues to consider.

McEnany’s criticism of Jean-Pierre was warranted; as she pointed out, Jean-Pierre’s response was simply that no one from the first family had been present at the time of discovery, which had already been established prior to her questioning.

In addition, by emphasizing that this incident happened in an area monitored by Secret Service personnel, McEnany further highlighted how careless any individual(s) involved must have been if they thought they could go unnoticed while using illegal substances inside such a heavily guarded building.

Reports noted that areas of the White House were evacuated after officials discovered a strange white powder, which subsequent tests confirmed to be cocaine.

Secret Service units blocked off roads around the president’s official residence while a DC Fire Department hazmat team was dispatched to investigate. U.S. Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi told The Hill, “On Sunday evening, the White House complex went into a precautionary closure as officers from the Secret Service Uniformed Division investigated an unknown item found inside a work area.”

Guglielmi added that “the DC Fire Department was called to evaluate and quickly determined the item to be non-hazardous.

The item was sent for further evaluation and an investigation into the cause and manner of how it entered the White House is pending.” Subsequent reports indicated that NBC News cited sources who said that cocaine had been found in a cubby area in West Executive basement – an area where vehicles carrying Vice President Kamala Harris two and from White House usually park.

White House press secretary Jean-Pierre told reporters Wednesday:

“What I wanted to be very clear is that this is a heavily, heavily trafficked, heavily traveled, to be more accurate, area of campus of The White House…It is where visitors to West Wing come through.”

She referred all further questions on this matter to USSS for investigation purposes. Robert McDonald – former special agent for USSS – outlined how he believes the agency will likely investigate whose cocaine was found in The White House during an interview on Fox News, stating he believes USSS “likely has a fairly good idea” who is involved.
